HAWAII

In Hawaii, we don’t just guide your visit to the Royal Palace. We give you Queen Liliuokalani’s own bitter words as she was sentenced to house arrest. We provide the context for the overthrow of the only American monarchy by U.S. missionary descendants and suggest travelers pay close attention to the quilt she and her hand-maiden crafted when the two were confined to her room at the palace.

NEW ORLEANS

In New Orleans, we don’t only guide you to the best restaurants. We give you the story of how restaurants and their chefs led the city’s revival after the devastation of Katrina: Within days of the hurricane, locals gathered at damaged and understaffed restaurants to resume the important rituals of eating, drinking, and talking, We’ll give you the backstory of the restaurants we recommend.

ITALY

In Rome, we don't merely list the best museums and churches where you can see extraordinary Renaissance art, we give you the personal story of troubled but brilliant painter Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio. We reveal how the live models he used shocked the religious establishment, and why his unruly temper eventually led to his early death while his magnificent art lives on.

No Where In the World… travels well in multiple formats.

Our content can be packaged and delivered in any format that a customer—or business—prefers. Traditional travel guides are encyclopedic in nature and don’t translate well in digital formats. Their content is easily duplicated by an internet search. But No Where in the World is designed to be a more linear, narrative experience. It’s highly adaptable to other formats. It cannot be easily duplicated by Google search.

IN PRINT

Guide books still sell. Some travelers feel comfortable with a printed guide. It’s a $100MM plus market in the U.S. Sales were up 5% in 2017 and top selling guides can sell 50,000 to 75,000 copies over a three year period. We’ve already received a commitment from a major book retailer to order copies.

AUDIO

The hottest trend in publishing, audio is a $2.5 billion market and one that skews young. Our content centers around stories that are easily converted to an audio format. Because of their structure, traditional print guides can’t be converted to an audio format, thereby missing out on lucrative sales.

EBOOK and SMART PHONES

Consumers want content on their smartphones. While eBooks as a format has plateaued, consumers' reliance on portable, digital devices has not. Our stories and other content can easily be downloaded for portability.

WEB

Our website is designed to supplement the travel guides with author interviews and recommendations, curated videos and contemporary content. Much of the content can be sourced free or inexpensively. Our target authors often give extended interviews to NPR and local public radio stations as part of their book tours. The interviews are compelling and relevant. The website also serves as an online bookstore for selling travel books including those excerpted in the travel guides.

Red Knots are one of the best traveled birds — flying over 9,000 miles from southern Argentina to the Canadian Arctic. Delaware Bay with its abundance of horse shoe crab eggs is an important spring feeding stop. On a single day, it is possible that 90 percent of one particular Red Knot subspecies can be found in the bay.
